Planet Fitness Grand Opening on January 14

Planet Fitness will open its second club in Alexandria, located at 5960 Richmond Highway. Through December 10, members can join for just $1 down and then $10 a month with no commitment.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 14, at 4:30 p.m. David Brown, who came in second place during season 15 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser®, he will be at the event to help Planet Fitness celebrate, and is available to talk about fitness tips, how he has kept the weight off and his experience on the show.
Additionally, the club will host raffles throughout the day on January 14, and new members will have the chance to win a variety of prizes including a GoPro, iPad, flat screen TV and a Planet Fitness-branded bike, among other items.
The new Alexandria Planet Fitness is more than 15,000 sq. feet and will offer state of the art cardio machines and strength equipment, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, numerous flat screen televisions, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning beds, and Total Body Enhancement booths.
The club will be open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The other Planet Fitness in Alexandria, which opened in 2010, is located at 4620 Kenmore Avenue and is also open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
