Police Charge Man For Showing Explicit Video To Teen
A tip helped police identify a suspect after the offense at the Huntington Goodwill store.

HUNTINGTON, VA—A tip helped Fairfax County Police identify and arrest a man who allegedly showed a teenage girl an explicit video in a Huntington store.
Officers responded to the 6100 block of Richmond Highway to take Santos Portillo-Melendez, 38, of Alexandria into custody. He was charged with obscene sexual display and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was held on no bond.
Police received the tip after releasing surveillance photos of the suspect. A community member recognized the man from the photos.

The original incident happened at the Goodwill, 6220 Richmond Highway, around 5:45 p.m. Sunday. Police received a report of a man following a teen in the store. The suspect, speaking in Spanish, allegedly asked for help in deleting something from his phone and showed the teen a sexually explicit video. Surveillance footage confirmed the man followed the girl before approaching her.
