Police: Bank Robbed at Gunpoint on Fort Hunt Road

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 7928 Fort Hunt Road, according to a news release from police.

Around 9:20 a.m., two men entered the bank and brandished a gun at a 20-year-old male employee. The suspects demanded money and the victim complied. The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect was described as black, 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a black, hooded raincoat, black pants, a ski mask and sunglasses. The second suspect was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a blue, hooded raincoat and blue rain pants.
