Prince Harry to Visit Virginia Next Week
Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will join Prince Harry at Fort Belvoir to promote the Joining Forces initiative and the 2016 Invictus Games.

Prince Harry will be traveling to Virginia next week to visit with wounded military personnel as part of the Joining Forces initiative and to promote the upcoming Invictus Games.
Harry will be visiting Fort Belvoir with First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
They will tour the USO Warrior and Family Center, designed to support wounded servicemembers, military families, and caregivers, according to a White House release.

They’ll also watch a short adaptive sports event, similar to one that will be featured in the Invictus Games in Orlando next May.
The visit will highlight the innovative programming designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of service members, veterans, and their families, according to the White House.

As part of the Joining Forces initiative, Jill Biden led a delegation to the inaugural Invictus Games, held in London in 2014, which saw over 400 competitors from 13 nations compete in nine sports.
