Resident's Screams Send Break-In Suspect Fleeing from Home
Police say a suspect was climbing through a resident's window at 2:30 a.m. Christmas Day when the woman saw him and screamed.

Fairfax County Police say a woman’s screams sent a break-in suspect fleeing from a Hybla Valley home during the overnight hours on Christmas Day.
The incident took place in the 7800 block of Belford Drive (see map below) on Christmas Day, Friday, at 2:30 a.m., police said.
Police say a 26-year-old woman was awakened by a noise at her ground-floor bedroom window. She saw a man leaning in the window, apparently trying to get inside, according to police. She screamed and the man fled, police said.

Police say the man was described as Hispanic, in his 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and around 180 pounds. He had short, black hair and a goatee. He was wearing a T-shirt.
