Ribbon-Cutting Held Monday for New 7-Eleven Store

A new 7-Eleven convenience store, located at 6138 North Kings Highway, is now open for business.

Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Dec. 15, to welcome this new business.

Participating in the ribbon cutting were Diane Moery, Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce; Sharon Leake, Belvoir Federal Credit Union; Azad Haghighi, Moeen Omar, Kay Bradley, and Jason Horan, with 7-Eleven; owner Michael Brasseur, wife Darby, and baby Kaylynn; Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay, Delegate Mark Sickles, and Walter Clark, SFDC.
