Richmond Highway Burglaries Lead To Charges In Fairfax County
A man has been charged for restaurant burglaries in Fairfax County's Richmond Highway corridor, according to police.

WOODLAWN, VA — A man is facing charges in connection to restaurant burglaries in Fairfax County's Richmond Highway corridor.
Fairfax County detectives have been investigating burglaries starting Nov. 13 in the 8000 block of Richmond Highway. Police believe the suspect used a brick to damage windows and enter two businesses over five days.
Mezcalero Restaurant, located at 8368 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA, was burglarized on Nov. 13, 17 and 18. Mana Pupuseria & Taqueria at 8166 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA, was burglarized on Nov. 18 as well.

Police arrested the suspect during a larceny response at Walmart, 7910 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA. As determined by surveillance footage, the suspect was wearing clothes that matched the clothes he wore during the four restaurant burglaries.
Eliasar Mardiel Flores, 20, of Alexandria, was charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of destruction of property, vehicle tampering, and petit larceny. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.
