Rodent Droppings And More Restaurant Violations Near Alexandria

Health inspectors found rodent droppings in a dry storage area and more at Alexandria area restaurants.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections from May. Among the violations were rodent droppings, food stored near the floor and dirty utensils.
