Roy Rogers Reopens At Belle View Shopping Center After 2019 Fire

The Roy Rogers restaurant, damaged in a six-alarm fire in 2019, reopened Wednesday.

BELLE HAVEN, VA — The Roy Rogers restaurant at Belle View Shopping Center reopened Wednesday after an extended closure due to the 2019 six-alarm fire.

"The long anticipated re-opening of our Belle View location is HERE!" the franchise shared on Facebook. "We are OPEN, and we cannot wait to see all of our Belle View neighborhood friends back in our location."

The fast food restaurant was one of the businesses significantly damaged by the six-alarm fire at the Belle View Shopping Center in October 2019. One firefighter suffered minor injuries, and no one else was injured. Damages surpassed $5.8 million.

Roy Rogers dates back to 1968, when its first location opened in Falls Church. Today, it has 47 locations in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Other Virginia locations include Woodlawn, Manchester Lakes, Leesburg, Gainesville and Front Royal.

Hours at the Belle View restaurant are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
