Second Annual Huntley Harvest Festival Set for Nov. 1
Admission is $10 per person; ages 4 and younger admitted free of charge.

The second annual Huntley Harvest Festival will take place Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 1 to 4 p.m. Families are invited to enjoy autumn-themed games, crafts, and activities at both Huntley Meadows Park and Historic Huntley. Refreshments will be available, and kids can collect prizes at educational stations. Admission is $10 per person; ages four and under are free.
At Huntley Meadows Park, families will find educational stations focused on the autumn season and how nature prepares for winter. Other activities include making animal masks and playing games such as pumpkin bowling and musical hay bales.
At Historic Huntley, costumed period interpreters will teach visitors about historical agricultural practices. Children will enjoy a puppet show about Huntley manorās history and make a bookmark after story time.

Other crafts, games, and refreshments will be available at both locations. Kids collect charms as they visit each activity station, and once they collect them all they earn a bigger prize. Pre-registration isnāt necessary, so just show up and have fun!
