Second Fire At Vacant Hybla Valley Home Investigated
The vacant house was the location of two fires in July and August, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — Investigators are looking into a second report of a fire at a vacant house in Hybla Valley. The two fires occurred on July 28 and Aug. 29, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
The vacant single family home house is located in the 2900 block of Dunbar Street in Hybla Valley. The latest fire on Aug. 29 happened around 7:46 a.m. Fire units responded to a report of a house fire and located light smoke showing from the roof. Upon further investigation, firefighters located a fire involving two mattresses and quickly put it out.
In the other fire around 2:11 a.m. on July 28, a neighbor had seen fire coming from a window and called for help. There were approximately $50,000 in damages identified from the fire.

The fire department is asking for information of home security footage. Home security video footage is sought from between 12 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on July 28, and 5:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29.
