Tauxemont Preschool Hosts Blues, Brews, and BBQ Auction

Tauxemont Cooperative Preschool will host its annual silent auction Saturday at the Collingwood Library and Museum in Alexandria.

The auction theme is Blues, Brews, and BBQ. Auction items include Walt Disney World day passes, museum passes, Nationals baseball tickets, and theatre tickets.

The event is open to the general public. Tickets cost $35 per person or $65 per couple. Tickets will also be available at the door. The ticket price includes the evening's entertainment, heavy hors-d'oeuvres, and one glass of wine or beer. A cash bar will also be available.

Proceeds will finance Tauxemont's scholarship fund for families in need. Additional monies raised will be used to defray the costs of classroom materials, building repairs, playground maintenance, and teacher education.
