Teen's Remains Found In Gang-Related Disappearance
Police are now investigating a Fairfax County teen's gang-related disappearance as a homicide after his remains were found.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—The body of a missing Mount Vernon teen has been found in Nokesville, located in Prince William County, police say.
On Tuesday, Aug. 22, Prince William County Police searched the area of Nokesville Road and Fauquier Drive, recovering the body. Police believe the disappearance and death of Miguel Angel Ruiz Carrillo, 18, is gang related.
Fairfax County Police said he had last been seen at the 4200 block of Buckman Road Thursday, August 3. Family reported him as missing when he didn't return home, but investigations found he is missing under suspicious circumstances.

He was reported as missing and endangered Aug. 8. Investigators had believed he was last seen Detectives believe he was last seen in a wooded area near the end of Pole Road at Pondside Terrace in Mount Vernon.
Prince Williams County Police are now handling the investigation as a homicide. The remains were taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Manassas for an autopsy and further analysis to determine the cause of death.

Three have been arrested in connection with the teen's disappearance. Fairfax County Police arrested Jose Vincent-Sosa, 20, and Edwin Dinarte Moreno, 18, both of Alexandria, along with a female juvenile. All three are each charged with abduction and gang participation.
Prince William County Police say no arrests have been made in connection with the murder yet. Patch will provide more updates when available.
