UPDATE: Police Add New Videos From Richmond Highway Hold-Ups
FBI, partner law enforcement agencies offering $10,000 reward for identifying and locating at least two suspects in total of six robberies.

UPDATE 8:30 p.m.: Fairfax County Police have added video from the armed robberies that took place at the Richmond Highway area 7-Eleven stores. Watch them at the bottom of this story. The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for the identification and locations of any two suspects.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward in coordination with partner law enforcement agencies to identify and locate at least two armed individuals who are suspected of robbing 7-11 convenience stores in Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, the FBI announced Wednesday morning.
Three of those robberies have taken place at 7-Eleven stores in the Richmond Highway corridor:

- 2405 Fairhaven Avenue: Thursday: Aug. 27, 2:50 a.m.
- 3100 Lockheed Boulevard: Monday, Aug. 31, 1:05 a.m.
- 6138 N. Kings Highway: Thursday, Sept. 3, 8:40 a.m.
The robberies outside the Richmond Highway corridor took place at 7-Eleven stores at these locations:
- 6800 Livingston Road: Aug. 27, 2:03 a.m.
- 3101 Rhode Island Ave. NE: Aug. 27, 4:13 a.m.
- 14001 Baltimore Ave., Laurel, Md.: 2:07 a.m.
“We are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate these individuals,” said David J. LeValley, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office’s Criminal Division. “They have robbed at least six establishments in the District, Northern Virginia and Maryland. We are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to their identification and arrest.”
The following is a video of the suspects, according to the FBI, from surveillance video taken during an Aug. 27 robbery in DC:
The FBI said the individuals were described as black males wearing dark colored clothing during the majority of the robberies. One of them was described as having long dreadlocks, the FBI said. Another was described as wearing black shoes with red coloring on the top, according to the FBI.
The individuals displayed weapons during each robbery. On Aug. 31, one of the individuals used a long gun during the robberies. During these two robberies four men entered the store, the FBI said. They were seen fleeing the scene of the robberies in an unknown sedan.
Law enforcement is launching a campaign to identify these individuals and is using digital and social media to seek the public’s assistance. In addition to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube postings, digital advertisements in city bus shelters will be utilized in the District of Columbia.

The FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force from both the Washington and Baltimore Field Offices along with the Fairfax County Police Department, Prince George’s County Police Department and the Metropolitan Police Departments are investigating the robberies.
