Truck Backed Into Mount Vernon Store By Burglars: Police
Burglars attempted to take an ATM after backing a truck into a storefront in Mount Vernon, according to police.

MOUNT VERNON, VA — Fairfax County Police are attempting to identify four suspects who damaged a Mount Vernon convenience store with a vehicle and attempted to take an ATM.
The burglary happened at the 7-Eleven, 5638 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway around 3:06 a.m. on May 26. According to police, two suspects opened the store's locked door, and one pushed an employee out of the store.
When the employee ran away to call for help, two other suspects backed a black pickup truck through the store's front window. That knocked over the ATM, which the suspects tried to pry open. They weren't able to open the ATM and fled in the truck.

Police released surveillance footage of the burglary.
