UCM Holiday Gift Room Accepting Your Donations by 12/5!
Bring holiday joy to local children from low-income families with donations of toys, games, books, warm clothing.
The holidays are here! And UCM of Alexandria needs your help to stock our Holiday Gift Room earlier this year than usual -- by our deadlne Friday, Dec. 5. We are gearing up to provide 1,200+ children, ages infant to 14, with gifts this year. We rely on the generosity of community members like you to make the season joyful for local families who are struggling this year.
Now is the the time to organize your Holiday Gift Room collection drive or “Giving Tree.” We can provide flyers for you to customize and tree ornaments. Details and flyers are at our Holiday webpage. Our webpage also includes suggested gift items for various ages.
Donations are being accepted at UCM’s main office at 7511 Fordson Rd., Alexandria VA 22306 on weekdays from 9 am to 5:30 pm. If your group or business is doing a large UCM collection drive, we are happy to arrange a pickup. Email laurel.cunnane@ucmagency.org who is happy to help.
