Victim Robbed at Gunpoint Outside 7-Eleven Store

Fairfax County Police are investigating a robbery at gunpoint that took place late Monday night in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store on Richmond Highway.

The robbery in the 8000 block of Richmond Highway (see map below), took place Monday around 10:44 p.m., police said.

The victim was standing outside of the 7-Eleven store and was approached by a man, according to police. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded property, police said. The suspect took property and fled in a silver-colored sedan.

The victim did not require medical attention, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a wool cap, black jacket and black pants, police said.
