Virginia's Best Steakhouse Is In Springfield: Report

SPRINGFIELD, VA -- If you're looking for a nice steakhouse in the Alexandria area, there are plenty of great options. But one stands above the rest, according to a new report from Business Insider and Foursquare.

Springfield's Mike's American Grill was named the top chophouse in the entire state based on ratings, popularity rankings and tips left by users of the Foursquare City Guide mobile app, Business Insider reported.

Mike's American, located at 6210 Backlick Rd, has been serving up steak, seafood and more American fare since it opened in 1986. It is owned by Great American Restaurants, which also runs 11 other DC area casual restaurants.

"You'll find neon, vintage baseballs, local photos, and fellow fans at Mike's American Grill in Springfield. For dinner, try the filet mignon or hickory smoked baby back ribs," Business Insider said about Mike's American.
