Woman Assaulted, Carjacked In Groveton: Police
Over the weekend, a woman was assaulted and carjacked, while a 7-Eleven was robbed in Groveton.

GROVETON, VA—The suspects in carjacking and a 7-Eleven robbery were arrested in Groveton over the weekend.
The carjacking happened in the 3000 block of Furman Lane Saturday. Around 12:15 a.m., the victim was walking to her car when approached by two men. The men pushed her down and demanded money. The suspects took her wallet and car keys, fleeing in her car.
Not long afterward, Fairfax County Police arrested John Williams, 19, and a 17-year-old, both of District Heights, Md.

The 7-Eleven robbery occurred at 6946 South Kings Highway Sunday. Around 2:30 a.m., the suspect appeared to go to the counter to check out. When the cashier was ringing up the item, the suspect jumped over the counter and began stealing money. He left in a getaway car outside.
Police soon arrested the robber Arvel Caldwell, 39, and the driver, Ronald Carter, 56, both of Washington, DC.
