Woman Attacked While Getting In Car: Police

GROVETON, VA—Police are seeking a man who reportedly attacked and robbed a woman in Groveton Monday evening.

Around 5 p.m., the victim reported that a man grabbed her and took her wallet from her hand in the 6600 block of Richmond Highway. She had been getting in her car when the man appeared. The suspect is described as black and between 30 to 40 years old. He was seen running to a black SUV and driving away from the area.

The woman had minor injuries.
