Woman Found Dead With Gunshot Wound Outside Inova Mount Vernon Hospital

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — After a woman was found dead outside Inova Mount Vernon Hospital last Thursday.

A resident had found the unconscious woman in a vehicle around 10:45 p.m. Thursday in the hospital's parking lot at 8033 Holland Road in Alexandria. Police and fire personnel found the woman in the passenger seat, and she was declared dead at the scene.

She was identified as Brenda Ochoa Guerrero, 33, of Alexandria.

Police say Ochoa Guerrero had apparent upper body trauma, but a cause of death could not be immediately identified. An autopsy determined she died of an upper body gunshot wound.

Police have not yet classified the incident as a homicide, but two persons of interest are wanted. Detectives found surveillance footage of two men parking Ochoa Guerrero's vehicle around 1:11 a.m. and leaving the area. The men were picked up by an SUV and left.
