McLean Students Bring Joy Of Art To Hospital Patients

McLean rising sophomores Emma and Ally Chen, Hannah Huang, Hannah Lin and Jiayin Zou are among the founders of Youth Creativity Project, which works with local hospitals to provide patients with art kits and virtual art events.

DC Area Restaurants Nominated For 2021 RAMMY Awards

Dozens of restaurants in D.C. were among the finalists for the 2021 RAMMYs, the regional restaurant and food service awards held by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW). See links below to view local nominees.

Medical Service For Homeless Supported By Endowment

The Mitchell E. Davis, M.D. Endowment for MedStreet and the Very Needy People They Help was established for MedStreet through ACT for Alexandria. MedStreet is an all-volunteer organization launched in 2020 by Dr. William Mazzella. The doctor spends time in between hospital shifts meeting the homeless where they are in Alexandria and other nearby areas.
