$4,500 In VA Arts Grant Funding Available For Herndon Nonprofits
Nonprofit arts organizations in Herndon can apply for up to $4,500 in grant funding from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
HERNDON, VA — Local nonprofit arts organizations can now submit proposals to the Town of Herndon to receive up to $4,500 in Creative Communities Partnership Grant funding through the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Proposals that qualify for the grants will be implemented in fiscal year 2023.
Town of Herndon is accepting proposals from nonprofit arts organizations that are incorporated in the town and meet the general policy guidelines, which are available online along with other resources. Applicants seeking a Creative Communities Partnership Grant should also review the FY2023 Guidelines for Funding.
The deadline for submitting an application to the Performing Arts Supervisor at the Town of Herndon Department of Parks and Recreation is 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14. Applicants can deliver their proposal in-person to the Herndon Community Center, 814 Ferndale Ave., Herndon, VA, 20170. Proposals may also be emailed to holly.popple@herndon-va.gov. Applicants are encouraged to request a confirmation of receipt by the department before the Feb. 14 deadline.
