Drunk Herndon Driver Hits Pedestrian: Police
Police have arrested a Herndon man after he allegedly hit a pedestrian in Sterling and then fled.

HERNDON, VA — Police have arrested a Herndon man, accusing him of getting drunk and then hitting a pedestrian in a parking lot in Sterling with his car.
Ahsan Khan, 23, faces charges of driving under the influence and felony hit and run after the car he was driving struck a pedestrian and a vehicle in the parking lot in the 45000 block of Dulles Plaza shortly before 6 a.m. on July 30, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Khan fled the scene prior to the arrival of a deputy, the report states. He was later located at a residence in Fairfax.

Khan was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond, the report adds.
