Herndon Fall Clean-Up Scheduled For October
Town of Herndon will be conducting a bulky item trash pickup during Oct. 21-23.

HERNDON, VA — Looking to unload some large or bulky items? Have no fear. The Town of Herndon will be hosting its annual fall clean-up on Oct. 21-23. This gives residents a chance to have those items picked up on their regularly schedule trash collection day.
- Items for pickup may include:
- Appliances (remove doors)
- Furniture
- Vehicle parts and plumbing fixtures (all under 50 pounds)
- Tires (limit two per household)
- Limited amount of building materials (approximately one cubic yard, lengths not to exceed 4 feet)
The following items will not be picked up as part of the annual fall clean-up:
- Loose yard waste
- auto parts in excess of 50 pounds
- large quantities of building materials
- household hazardous waste
- electronics (e-waste), including computers, televisions, monitors, printers, and stereos.
Residents should place the items curbside by 6 a.m. on their scheduled trash day, but not more than 24 hours prior to the pick-up.
