HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police said Tuesday afternoon that they identified the vehicle and occupants involved in the Monday afternoon shooting in town, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.

Officers responded around 3 p.m. on Monday, to the 900 block of Alabama Drive for the report of shots fired. At that time, they released a description of vehicle and asked for the public's help in locating it.
