In 2013, Leesburg water met or exceeded all of the EPA's water quality standards.

Release, Town of Leesburg:

The Leesburg Utilities Department recently released the Town’s Water Quality Report for 2013. The full report can be viewed on the Town website at leesburgva.gov/waterqualityreport.

Since 1999, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has required water providers to publish annual water quality reports. The report provides customers with information about the source, treatment and testing of their drinking water, as well as an overview of drinking water regulations.

In 2013, Leesburg water met or exceeded all of the EPA’s water quality standards.

“Leesburg’s Utilities Department does an outstanding job and consistently produces drinking water that is safe, aesthetically pleasing and chemically pure,” said John Wells, Leesburg’s Town Manager. “Our customers can be secure in the knowledge that their water is of the highest quality.”
