Community Correction Office Catches Fire
No injuries reported; employees operating temporarily from government center in Leesburg.

Loudoun County Community Corrections Office caught fire at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, drawing fire and rescue units from Leesburg, Hamilton, Lansdowne, Lucketts and Ashburn.
In an email, Public Information Officer Laura Rinehart said the fire was quickly extinguished but crews remained on scene at 107 Loudoun Street in Leesburg conducting "extensive overhaul."
It forced a temporary closure of the government center parking garage, which reopened at 8 a.m., Rinehart wrote.

Due to fire and water damage, employees are operating temporarily from the government center at 1 Harrison St. Relocation arrangements are being made and will be communicated to the public as they are made available.
The extent of the damage is not clear at this time. No injuries have been reported.

The Loudoun County Fire Marshals' Office continues to investigate the incident.
