Crown Vics, Saddle Featured In Loudoun Surplus Property Auction

LEESBURG, VA — Loudoun County is holding an online auction for surplus government property such as a hydraulic dump trailer and a set of Beats brand headphones. Other items include a 2011 Crown Victoria police car, a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Pessoa saddle. The auction also features a selection of aluminum ladders, file cabinets, laptops and office furniture.

Loudoun County sells surplus items online through the Public Surplus auction site, which was created specifically for public agencies. Interested bidders must be registered with publicsurplus.com. Registration is free, although a 10-percent buyer’s premium is charged to all purchases.

Winning bidders can arrange to pick up their items at 14 Cardinal Park Drive, Suite 106, in Leesburg by appointment between 9 a.m. and noon or from 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The dates for items to be picked up are noted on each auction item listed on the Loudoun County auction site.
