Calling all golf enthusiasts! Grab a caddy and your clubs, and join All Ages Read Together (AART) for their 12th Annual Tee Off for Children's Literacy Golf Tournament on June 14, 2023. Hosted at the beautiful Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club, this tournament will raise funds to support AART's mission of providing free preschool classes to under-resourced communities in Northern Virginia.
Grab your friends and join us on the green for 18 holes of golf and fun in the sun! Gates open at 8:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start to the tournament at 9:00 a.m. Golfers should arrive as early as possible to have enough time to check in, have breakfast, and enjoy the opening remarks and putting contest to kick off the day's activities.
Carts, a grab-and-go breakfast, a bbq awards luncheon, and an open bar will be provided. Each golfer may purchase up to four mulligans to give their team a leg up and extend their tournament experience.

Tickets are all-inclusive, and 100% of the funds raised will be utilized to support AART's programs!
The US Department of Education reports that children who enter kindergarten without preschool are typically 12 - 14 months behind their classmates in pre-language and pre-literacy skills (US Dept. of Ed, 2015). AART recognizes many families' challenges when finding accessible early education programs for their children. Preschool is not part of the public school system. Every parent wants to give their child the best possible start to their education, and AART helps fill the gap in opportunities available to help parents accomplish this goal.
AART's Executive Director, Michelle Sullivan, asserts that "making learning fun helps children build the foundational skills to become the doctors, electricians, scientists, etc... of tomorrow." AART's programs engage students with fun, bilingual learning activities taught by dedicated and seasoned educators from the Northern Virginia community. AART would only be able to fulfill its mission with the support of the community, and the golf tournament is an excellent example of how Northern Virginia rallies around its local families and educators.

To close out the tournament, AART will award 1st and 2nd place prizes to the teams with the best net and gross scores. Prizes will also be awarded at the individual level to the golfer closest to the pin and to the golfer with the longest drive for both men and ladies in attendance, respectively.
We hope to see you and your friends on the greens for the 12th Annual Tee Off for Children's Literacy Golf Tournament!
