Inova Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Resident Honored
Mary Waters, 82, is known for her passionate political life, and has been profiled in "Who's Who in Virginia's Long Term Care Facilities" calendar

Inova Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center resident Mary Waters was recently profiled in the Virginia Health Care Association’s (VHCA) “Who’s Who in Virginia’s Long Term Care Facilities” calendar.
The calendar’s theme, “Spirit of Success,” is aimed to emphasize the importance of remembering and honoring the successes in the lives of long-term care residents, according to a press release.
The 82-year-old lead a dedicated political life, working with the congressman credited with building the Golden Gate Bridge, and for a congresswoman who helped pass the Equal Pay (for women) Act.

Waters is currently vice president emeritus of the Committee for Dulles and president of the Fairfax Heritage Society, which helped to preserve the Sully Plantation. She is also president of the Potomac Society, a group of women in the press.
Waters also is a mother of five, and mentor to business women in Northern Virginia who has lived at Inova Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center since January 2010.

“It’s a pleasure having Ms. Waters as part of our family here at Inova Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. We enjoy hearing stories about her life and the impact she’s made on our country,” said Elizabeth Kaeser, administrator at Inova Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
