Jasmine Chinese Cuisine & Sushi
In this edition of Getting Out in Leesburg, we visit Jasmine for some delicious Chinese food in Market Station.
One of Market Station's newer arrivals is Jasmine Chinese Cuisine & Sushi. Located catty corner from , Jasmine is among the best restaurants in town, with consistently high-quality food and a friendly staff.
I've been going there pretty regularly since I moved back in the area about two years ago, and I've never had anything approaching a bad experience there. They have a larger menu than many Chinese food restaurants and everything always tastes fresh.
In addition to their large dining room, Jasmine also has an adjacent sushi bar. If you're with folks who want to get a mixture of Chinese food and sushi, they serve both in the dining room, but you can walk right over and have a sushi bar experience if you prefer. Jasmine also has outdoor seating that even features a retractable awning so you don't bake during the summer months.

Jasmine's website says, "Our customers know, if you don't see it on the menu, ask. Our dishes are made to order and we can accommodate most changes. If you would like to modify any of our dishes to suit your taste, just let us know," and they're not kidding.
They have a small and dedicated staff, so when we go in we're usually waited on by either Roger or Elizabeth. Not only are they helpful with communicating any changes you need or dietary restrictions you may have to the chefs, but they remember for next time, so your order is always right.

While the restaurant isn't "kid-friendly" in the traditional sense of having kids menus and crayons, I've always felt comfortable bringing my son in there. The staff is friendly and accommodating toward children and understand the need to get their food out quickly and will bring out snacks to tide them over until the actual food is ready.
While there are many items on the menu that I enjoy, when I go to Jasmine, I tend to get the vegetable egg foo young. However, the chicken with snow peas has also garnered rave reviews, as has the sushi. The sushi platters in particular are a sight to behold: beautifully presented mixtures of sushi and sashimi that are, by all accounts, fresh and delicious.
Jasmine offers delivery, catering, and even has a brand-new Event Room for your next get-together.
If there's one complaint I have, it's that they're closed on Sundays, but I guess everyone needs a day off.
Jasmine is open Monday - Thursday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
