Leesburg Police Make Arrest In Abduction Investigation
Friday, Dec. 4, at approximately 12:15 PM, Leesburg officers were called to an apartment complex in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE.

Leesburg, VA ā On Friday, December 4, 2020 at approximately 12:15 PM, Leesburg Police Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE for a report of an unknown altercation. Upon arrival, officers were advised that an adult female employee of the apartment complex was assaulted by a temporary contractor.

The victim advised that while she was working that the suspect made repeated advances at her and kissed her without her consent. The victim informed the suspect that the advances were unwanted and tried to leave, however the suspect blocked the victimās path to exit the room multiple times. The victim was ultimately able to force her way past the suspect and fled the scene. Subsequent to the investigation, 41 year old Beltsville, MD resident Teferi Aynalem, was arrested and charged with one count each of abduction and assault. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
