Since 1999, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has required drinking water providers to publish annual water quality reports. Leesburg’s report provides customers with information about the sources, treatment, and testing of their drinking water as well as an overview of federal drinking water regulations.

ā€œDespite the challenges of the pandemic this past year, our employees continued to ensure that every quality standard established by the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act was met or exceeded,ā€ said Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk. ā€œThis report is designed to inform you about the quality water we deliver to you every day. We hope you will take time to read this important report and we encourage you to participate in decisions involving your drinking water.ā€
