Loudoun County Parks And Recreation Offers Virtual Experience

Loudoun County is encouraging residents to enjoy its parks and services virtually while adhering to the stay-at-home.

LEESBURG, VA – Loudoun County is encouraging residents to enjoy its parks and services virtually while adhering to the stay-at-home order to stop the spread of the new coronavirus.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services has launched a new website featuring video playlists, virtual tours, how-to guides, children's activities and community resources. The page also includes links to the department's Facebook pages, so users can engage with daily posts and videos.

"We're temporarily closed, but we're here for you digitally as we learn to navigate this new environment," said PRCS Director Steve Torpy in a prepared statement. "The response to the page has been positive and we feel that it may continue to serve citizens after normal operations resume."
