Potomac Crossing Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Nov. 8
The new park is located at the end of Shanks Evans Road.

Release:
Town of Leesburg officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of Potomac Crossing Park on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. The new park is located at the end of Shanks Evans Road in the Potomac Crossing neighborhood in northeast Leesburg.
In February 2013, the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously endorsed a proposed design for the new park, which included a playground, picnic shelter, open space and paved and primitive trails that connect to the trail network in the adjacent Ball’s Bluff Battlefield Regional Park. The Leesburg Town Council approved the park design and moved construction of the park from FY 2019 to FY 2015 in the Town’s Capital Improvement Program in July 2013.
