Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter participated in National Memorial Day Parade

The annual National Memorial Day Parade was held on May 25 in Washington DC. After assembly, the parade progressed down Constitution Avenue. The National Society Sons of the American Revolution were led by President General Michael Elston. Participating for the Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter were: Past Chapter president and present Virginia SAR First Vice President Ken Bonner, Compatriot Tim Murphy and Compatriot Warner Workman. Compatriot Workman towed a float decorated to commerate veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice from the Revolutionary War to wars of today.

The Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter serves Loudoun County and parts of adjoining counties. The chapter was selected as the best medium sized chapter in Virginia SAR for 2025. For more information about the chapter visit our website at: https://johnchampe-sar.org/
