Splash Communications celebrates their Grand Opening! Wednesday, December 2, from 5-8pm, Ribbon cutting at 5:15.

Splash Communications LLC, a local marketing and public relations firm, has moved to a new commercial space at 215 Depot Court in Leesburg and is excited to celebrate the Grand Opening of their new location. Officials from the Town of Leesburg and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce will be there on December 2, for a ribbon cutting at 5:15.

This new location gives Splash Communications room to expand and reach businesses and government entities in Northern Virginia and beyond. Local businesses and supporters of Splash Communications are invited to eat, drink and be merry, while networking and making valuable business connections.

Splash began when entrepreneur, Elysa Leonard’s husband’s occupation took their family to Bermuda for 18 months. Prior to this move, Elysa worked for 10 years as a Marketing Director for several super regional shopping centers in the New York metro area, owned by Simon Property Group and the Rouse Company. Even while living in the paradise of Bermuda, Elysa could not seem to leave her marketing expertise on the shelf. She bartered her marketing work to local businesses since only one work permit was allowed for the family. She quickly realized that when she returned home, she wanted to start her own company. Splash started as a home-based business in Ashburn, Virginia, and moved its operation to the George Mason Enterprise Center in downtown Leesburg in July of 2014 and just this October moved to 215 Depot Court to continue to grow the business in commercial space.

Established in Leesburg in a Hub Zone, Splash intends to grow by helping businesses and government entities through marketing and public relations support. The Headway Church has leased the first floor of 215 Depot Court and is subleasing to a few select businesses including Splash Communications. They want 215 Depot Court will be a junction where people consistently connect throughout the week in various ways impacting each other’s lives and helping to change the world. It won’t be a “church building,” but rather a space where community, coffee, creativity, culture and change are valued and celebrated! Splash believes this is an environment where they can thrive and help businesses help others.
