100 Cats in 100 Days: The Prince William County SPCA Needs Your Help
The animal shelter will give incentives for cat adoptions until 100 cats have found homes
If you’re looking for a furry new family member, consider adopting a cat from the animal shelter. The Prince William County Animal Shelter, 14807 Bristow Road in Manassas, has more than 150 cats in need of good homes.
The shelter is running out of room for the cats in their care, so the Prince William County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) started a new campaign to help increase cat adoptions. 100 Cats in 100 Days gives the following incentives to potential adoptive families:
- If the cat is not spayed/neutered then the adoption fee, normally $45, will be waived by the SPCA
- If the cat is spayed/neutered then adopters will receive a $45 PetCo gift card
- All adopters will receive a discount coupon booklet with more than $200 in savings
Potential adopters can look at cats available in the shelter online, or stop by the shelter from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
