MANASSAS, VA — A teacher found a bomb threat at Bull Run Middle School on Friday morning, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. Police officers searched the school, but they found no evidence of a bomb.

Students and staff members began returning to the school around 11:45 a.m. The police department said the school would resume normal operations.

The police department first reported the bomb threat at 8:37 a.m. on Friday. The school was evacuated, and students were taken to Battlefield High School.

At 9:24 a.m., the police department said a K-9 was assisting police officers in their search. At that time, authorities said they had not found any devices.
