"We are blessed," Tatum wrote. "Thank you to all my staff, family, friends, and customers."
The Fatburger brand began as hamburger stand in Los Angeles in 1947. Lovie Yancey, the founder of Fatburger, proposed making a burger into a meal by putting "everything on it," the brand says.
Patch also reached out to Fatburger's corporate team for more information about the decision to close the Manassas location. They have not responded.
