Hotel Guest Sexually Assaulted in Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA — A 63-year-old woman visiting from overseas woke up early Thursday morning in her hotel room to find an unknown man touching her in a sexual manner, according to Prince William County Police.

She screamed, and he fled.

The suspect is described as white, Hispanic or Middle-Eastern, between 30-40, about 5-10 with a regular build and arched eyebrows. He was last seen wearing a shirt, blue shorts and a dark watch.

Around 6:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a sexual assault at the Wyndham Garden Hotel at 10800 Vandor Lane.

The victim told police she had been sleeping before waking up to a man inappropriately touching her. Detectives canvassed the hotel without finding the suspect, and there were no signs of forced entry into the room.
