Legislators to Tour The Governor's School at Innovation Park

The Manassas-area school will host members of the Prince William Delegation to the Virginia General Assembly on Friday morning.

Prince William County legislators will check in on some of the school district’s brightest students Friday. Members of the Prince William Delegation to the Virginia General Assembly will tour The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park Friday, Nov. 7.

The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park is a partial-day academic year program where about 115 students from Manassas City, Manassas Park City and Prince William County attend science, mathematics, engineering, research and computer science classes. Students accepted to the school attend STEM classes in the morning and then return to their home schools in the afternoon for electives and humanities courses.

Parents and students interested in The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park can learn more at an information session Saturday, Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. in the Verizon Auditorium of the Occoquan Building. Applications for admission for the coming school year are available on the school’s website.
