Local Teen Pleads Guilty To Aiding ISIS: Media Reports
He helped person travel to Syria to join group, reports say.
A former student at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court to aiding the terrorist group ISIS, according to media reports.
Ali Shukri Amin, 17, entered the plea in federal court in Alexandria, radio station WTOP reported. He admitted in court that he helped another person travel to Syria to join the Islamic State.
The Manassas teen operated a pro-ISIS Twitter account, according to media reports.
