Man Fatally Shoots Himself Outside Manassas Police Headquarters

MANASSAS, VA — A man shot fatally shot himself Monday afternoon outside police headquarters at 9518 Fairview Avenue, according to Manassas City Police. The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m., police saw a man in front of the police headquarters with a gun. Before they could confront him, he shot himself. Now, police are trying to figure out why.
