Monza to Host Dogfish Head Brewery Beer Dinner, Dec. 17

Sometimes it seems the only thing missing from a perfect meal is the perfect beer. A Manassas restaurant wants to test that theory Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Monza, 9405 Battle St., will host a Dogfish Head Brewery Beer Dinner starting at 6:30 that night, paring Dogfish Head beers with the restaurants fall-inspired menu. The dinner will include four courses.

A meat and cheese platter accompanied by the 90 Min IPA will start off the meal followed by Namaste with Namaste Drunken Smoked Bacon Mussels, Punkin Ale with Four-Cheese Ravioli, Indian Brown Ale with All Natural Braised Beef Ragu and Butternut Squash Gnocchi and Aged-World Wide Stout with Homemade Bread Pudding.

“We’re combining some warm, comfort food with Dogfish Head’s favorite, fall beers for this dinner; a nice treat before the December holidays,” said Alice Pires, owner of Carmello’s and Monza of Old Town Manassas.
