Includes extensive coverage of the school’s history, an analysis of a brochure from the 1940s, compared to the reality during the 1960s, and dozens of photos in black and white, as well as color photos on the back cover.

Interesting chapters include the school’s most famous alumnus, John Phillips of the rock group ”The Mamas and the Papas” and his recollections of the years he spent there during the 1940s, a compendium of various adventures the cadets engaged in without getting caught, descriptions of field trips and parades, as well as enrollment figures through the years.
