Police: Manassas-Area Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Juvenile
The suspect faces multiple counts, according to Prince William County Police.

Detectives from the Prince William County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit arrested a Manassas-area man on Saturday on charges that he sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl on more than one occasion.

Charles Andrew Forsyth, 46, of 11230 Lady Jane Loop, #304, was charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery, six counts of indecent liberties with children, two counts of forcible sodomy and one count of the display of grooming or obscene material to children, according to a police report. He’s being held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas regional jail, and his next date in court is pending, the police said Monday.
On Saturday, the SVU detectives went to a residence in the 11200 block of Lady Jane Loop, west of the city of Manassas, to investigate a sexual assault reported to have occurred over the past year, the police report said.

The detectives found that the victim, a 9-year-old girl, had been sexually assaulted by Forsyth on more than one occasion between January 2014 and this month, the police report said. Following the investigation, Forsyth was arrested.
