Police: Masked Robber Hits Manassas Mobile Phone Store

Search is on for suspect dressed in black, say Prince William County police.

Prince William County police are looking for a masked robber who stole an undisclosed amount of money Saturday evening from a cell phone store in the Manassas area.

Officers responded at 7:56 p.m. to Metro PCS, 8369 Sudley Road, according to a police report. Shortly before that, an unknown man entered the business, approached an employee, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the business on foot, the police report said. No injuries were reported. An officer with a police dog searched for the suspect, but he remains at large.

Police describe the suspect as male, of an unknown race and age, and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black mask, a black sweatshirt with a white T-shirt underneath, black sweatpants and black shoes.
