Police: Middle-Aged Men Stole Firearms in Burglary

Break-in took place Thursday morning in residential area, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are looking for two suspects described as men in their 50s who were seen breaking into a home Thursday morning in a neighborhood north of Manassas Park. Firearms were apparently stolen in the burglary, police said.

At 9:18 a.m. Thursday, police officers responded to the report of a burglary at a residence in the 7400 block of Pinehurst Lane. A caller told police that at around 8:30 a.m., two men were seen breaking into a neighbor’s residence in the area.

One suspect forced entry into the home by kicking in a side door, according to a police report. The second suspect appeared to act as a lookout.

Officers arrived at the home and searched the interior of the residence and the surrounding neighborhood. Multiple firearms were reported missing, the police report said. The two burglary suspects were described as two white men in their 50s.
